  AUTHORS OBJECTIVE OF AUTHORS:  The objective of Authors is to be the player who has collected the most books by the end of the game. NUMBER OF PLAYERS:  4 to 6 Players MATERIALS:  1 Standard 52 Card Deck TYPE OF GAME:  Strategy Card Game AUDIENCE:  Adults OVERVIEW OF AUTHORS Authors is the perfect game for those players who enjoy strategy and questioning. The goal is to collect a book of cards which include four cards of different suits. There are specialty decks available that involve interesting stories about different authors and books! Ask for the cards you need, and no player can deny you! SETUP Firstly, decide on who will be the dealer. The dealer will then shuffle and deal the cards to each player. All of the cards in the deck are dealt out. The game is ready to begin! GAMEPLAY The player on the dealer’s left makes the first move. They will choose cards to make a book.   COMMERCE OBJECTIVE OF COMMERCE:  The objective of Commerce is to collect the most tokens. NUMBER OF PLAYERS:  3 to 10 Players MATERIALS:  1 Standard 52 Card Deck and Tokens TYPE OF GAME:  Collection Card Game AUDIENCE:  Adults OVERVIEW OF COMMERCE Commerce began in France around the 19 th  century. It is closely related to the game Calabresella, which only allowed for three players. This game requires a good amount of skill and strategy. Without a strategic plan, you can quickly fall behind other players. SETUP Firstly, the dealer and partnerships are determined. This is done by drawing for the high card. The two players with the highest cards will form a team, and the two players with the lowest cards will form a team. The player with the highest card will become the first dealer.
